NIGHT #1 / Published by Jester Press / Written by Troy Hasbrouck / Pencils, Inks & Lettering by Buddy Prince

Dear Werewolf:

What I love about Night #1, is that the story is pretty intense.  There is plenty of drama and lots of action!  The artwork is absolutely amazing.  I thought I was staring at the real cityscape of Chicago!  Buddy Prince is an amazing artist!  In the movie “Suicide Club”, there were 54 girl students that held hands, mumbled some chants and jumped in front of a train.  The sight was grisly and I found the same grisly sight in this comic book as there are 35 ripped up bodies and Special Agent Sabrina Voght is looking for some answers to these horrific killings!  As the story progressed, then I was surprised when the comic book fanboy is accosted outside of a comic book store by a gang called the Phreaks.  They got that name because when they get a hold of someone, there is not too much left of that person, except being a freak for the rest of their lives, if they can survive the encounter.  But, what is cool is that they messed around with the wrong fanboy, this one becomes a werewolf and the Phreaks get it real good by this monstrous creature!  At one time the fanboy was trying to keep his transformation under control, but if you are being bombarded by something evil, It’s time to break out the big guns!  Krison and his Phreaks are armed to the teeth, but I don’t think that is going to help them against this wolf of the night!!  Night #1 is the type of comic book that you want to read in the daytime.  If you read it at night, you may just have some nightmares!

Sincerely yours,
Paul Dale Roberts, President
